Prachur Sah is Managing Director & CEO of Indus Towers Limited.

A dynamic, result-oriented leader, with over 22 years of work experience, prior to joining Indus Prachur led the oil & gas vertical at Vedanta. As an oil & gas industry leader, he has experience across 2 models in the sector – upstream asset development and management and upstream engineering and technology services. In his role, he handled a P&L with revenue exceeding $7B USD and was instrumental in leading the next phase of growth for Cairn with a focus on delivering volumes, cost, growth projects, R&R, and monetization (new blocks). He is popular for building a culture that is value-driven, encourages innovation while maintaining the highest levels of safety, sustainability, and robust governance. Prachur joined Cairn oil & gas in 2018 as Director – NV, OALP block where he was responsible for the 51 new blocks awarded to Cairn and resulting exploration opportunities.

Prachur was Managing Director of Schlumberger – South Asia region prior to moving to Cairn. He has held leadership positions in line management, HR, Safety, Marketing in Schlumberger across the Middle East, Latin America, Europe, India, and the U.S. which gave him exposure to operations, strategic planning, and oil and gas management in his journey of 18 years with the company.

Prachur Sah is an electrical engineer from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai and MSc in Management from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh.

TEJINDER KALRA

Chief Operating Officer

Tejinder Kalra is the Chief Operating Officer at Indus Towers Limited.

Tejinder brings with him over 30 years of experience in Telecom and Telecom Services industry with successful entrepreneurial track record in acquiring business and setting up teams from scratch to manage and deliver the business both in India and International markets. He is a strong leader with intense focus on timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Prior to joining Indus, Tejinder worked with Nokia, where in his most recent role he was the Global Head for Bharti Business. He has worked with Nokia for over 13 years and has been a pivotal part of their growth story and managed the end to end P & L ownership for Bharti Telecom business globally. He has vast experience in Strategy development, implementation and service delivery across geographies. Before his last role, he was the Sub-Region Head for Central, East and Western Africa, where he helped set up Nokia’s Airtel operations in Africa. Tejinder has been associated with Reliance Infocomm, Satyam Infoway, Sprint RPG India amongst other organizations in past.

Tejinder has done his engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology and holds an Executive Diploma in International Business, from IIFT.

Chief Financial Officer

Vikas Poddar is the Chief Financial Officer of Indus Towers Limited.

Vikas is an experienced and results-driven finance professional equipped with a broad set of skills and a unique ability to bring the best out of those around him with his diverse background. A culturally aware professional, he has over two-decades of experience in finance and operations management. He has strong analytical skills and is adept at implementing robust financial frameworks including control and risk management.

In his previous role, he was the Global Head of Finance at Vodafone Intelligent Solutions (VOIS), London where he was instrumental in developing financial strategy and effective cost discipline while working closely with business leaders. Vikas began his journey within the Indian telecom landscape in 2008 when he joined Vodafone India Limited. He gained an insight into the nuances of telecom industry by working in various geographies and undertaking several leadership roles within Vodafone India. Thereafter, he was brought to Vodafone Group, UK as Regional Finance Controller for AMAP where he supported the key strategic business decisions for the region in areas like capital allocation, M&A and new commercial propositions. In his early career, he has also been associated with ITC Limited and Thai Filament Co. Limited as Finance Manager.

Vikas is a Chartered Accountant with 25th All India Rank at CA intermediate level. He has also been awarded an MBA with a major in Financial Management from NUS Business School, National University of Singapore.

Chief Digital & Information Officer

Neeti Wahi is the Chief Digital & Information Officer of Indus Towers Limited.

Neeti has 23 years of experience in digital transformation within the banking, finance, and energy sectors. Prior to joining Indus, Neeti held the position of Group Chief Information & Digital Officer at Sterlite Power, where she spearheaded the Information Technology & Digital portfolio for the group. Prior to Sterlite Power, she worked with Clix Capital, GE Capital India, GE Consumer Bank Mexico, and SBI Card. Throughout her career, she has consistently displayed the ability to lead digital transformation across business processes, implement agile, scalable technology solutions across organizations and promote digital adoption to ensure high-quality and fast-tracked output. Her efforts have added value to the business as well as to the employees, partners, and customers. Her achievements are a true testament to her leadership skills and transformative spirit.

Neeti is a Six Sigma certified professional and is also a graduate of GE's IMLP (Information Management Leadership Program), a full-time technology leadership development program, followed by GE's Executive Information Management Program (EIMP). Neeti holds an MBA degree from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Technology & Finance from Sardar Patel University.

Chief Supply Chain Management Officer

Anil Gupta is the Chief Supply Chain Management Officer in Indus Towers Limited.

Anil has over 20 years of experience and has previously worked with companies like AV Birla Group, KK Birla Group, Vedanta and Bharti Airtel before joining Indus. He has diversified experience in supply chain, project management, heading circle business and energy management.

Anil has been with Indus since its inception in varied roles. He joined as Circle Head in Rajasthan and since then has led the Energy SBU and managed a large portfolio of Telecom passive infra as Regional Head of North Region with the responsibility of 4 Telecom Circles P/L, business and operation management.

Anil is a mechanical engineer from the University of Rajasthan and an MBA in Finance.

Chief Regulatory Officer

Manoj Kumar Singh is the Chief Regulatory Officer of Indus Towers Limited.

He represents Indus with the Government and Industry associations on all regulatory matters to drive alignment within industry and enable conducive policies. In addition, Corporate Social Responsibility is also under the Regulatory function.

Manoj joined Indus Towers in August 2008 and has a total of three decades of experience. He anchored the creation of Energy and Regulatory verticals and is an integral part of various Industry associations like TAIPA, COAI, FIICI, CII etc. He drives the policy advocacy agenda for telecom infra providers. He is also Chairman of Energy Committee of TAIPA and is actively engaged with the industry and the government for Green Telecom Policy & reducing carbon footprint. He has been an anchor in making Indus the first telecom infra company to release Sustainability Reports since FY13-14. He is a coveted speaker on Green Energy in Indian Telecom space and has represented Indus at various international forums.

In the past, Manoj has spear-headed Indus’ CSR journey and the company has been recognized and awarded with ‘Annual Change maker award’, ‘National award for excellence in CSR & Sustainability for its CSR agenda and programs. He has conceptualized CSR and PSR policies for the company.

Prior to Indus he has worked with SRF and Kanoria Chemicals. He has led various Green Field Power Projects and has extensive experience in Technology innovation.

Manoj holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with Leadership Program from Harvard and Management Program in Public Policy (MPPP) from ISB.

PUSHKAR SINGH KATARIA

Chief Human Resources Officer

Pushkar Singh Kataria is the Chief Human Resources Officer of Indus Towers Limited.

Pushkar brings with him 27 years of diverse experience in various aspects of human resources and business strategy across multiple sectors and business models, including manufacturing, engineering, financial services, and media. Throughout his extensive career, he has played a pivotal role in shaping the Employee Value Proposition, strengthening employer branding, and fostering an inclusive culture. Pushkar possesses a deep understanding and knowledge of various industries and exhibits expertise in organizational development, talent management, and performance management. He has also successfully implemented numerous change management initiatives in his previous roles.

At Indus Pushkar spearheads the HR Function and plays a key role in driving excellence. 

Prior to joining Indus Towers, Pushkar held positions at esteemed organizations such as Dish TV, Reliance Capital, Vedanta Resources, and Praxair. His most recent assignment was as the Chief Human Resource Officer at Cairn Oil & Gas, where he played a crucial role in driving organizational growth and operational excellence.

Pushkar holds a degree in electrical engineering from Govt. Engineering College Jabalpur, an MBA in Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, and an MDHRM Diploma from the Indian Institute of Materials Managements. 

 

RAJIV ARORA

General Counsel

Rajiv Arora is General Counsel at Indus Towers Limited.

With vast experience of close to 25 years in multiple business environments across various geographies and holding leadership roles for over fifteen years, Rajiv is a veteran telecom lawyer in the country having core functional expertise inter alia in telecom laws, Legislative Advocacy, Regulatory framework, Corporate Re-structuring, Litigation, Contract negotiations, Taxation, Competition Law, Arbitration, Industrial and Employment Laws, Reality and Estate Transactions, IPR Policy, Compliance framework etc.

He has personally witnessed different phases of the telecom sector, starting from its nascent stage to the multiple operator’s industry, emergence and growth of IP1s, fierce competition and also the consolidation phase leading to off late mergers and amalgamations.

He believes in leveraging his vast experience in the sector to help businesses grow and succeed in complex environments by guiding them to operate and thrive within the realms of law and regulation and to conduct themselves with ethics and integrity. Further, he provides thought leadership within the industry and contributes by shaping industry friendly laws, regulations and public policies. Equipped with Maximizing Leadership Potential from Harvard Business School, he truly believes in committing himself towards nurturing and mentoring talent, building strong teams and equipping them with tools and processes to augment efficiency and effectiveness.

Rajiv is the founding Management Executive Committee member and has played a key role in the successful listing of the company’s IPO. He is also the Chairperson of Legal Committee of Industry Association, namely, Tower and Infrastructure Providers Association (TAIPA) since inception and also a member of telecom committee at Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

R. RAMANUJAM

Chief Technology Officer

R Ramanujam is the Chief Technology Officer of Indus Towers Limited.

In his 12-year journey at Indus, he has worked across geographies and in various roles, as CEO of two circles and the Regional Director for the North region. He has been instrumental in driving the next generation technology adoption in 5G, scaling up the existing product portfolio and steering ESG initiatives.

Rama’s business development and customer connect acumen has helped circles in the North region, build up stronger, stable businesses, and achieve newer heights. He has successfully led the Smart city and Fiber projects with NDMC, thus enabling the innovation on site solution. He has also represented Indus and won the prestigious Graham Bell innovation award.

With over 22 years of overall experience in telecommunication industry, he has expertise in Supply Chain Management, Deployment, Operations and Maintenance, Business Unit P&L Management, Regional Strategy and Business Control.

Strong leadership, customer connect and developing new business opportunities are Rama’s strengths besides his core expertise in innovation, simplification, and automation of work processes.
Rama holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ACCET Karaikudi and MBA from IMT Ghaziabad. In addition, Rama has also completed leadership programs from Wharton and Harvard Business School.
